EAFO Publishes Consumer Survey Data for 2022 and 2023 on Zenodo

Zenodo

The European Alternative Fuels Observatory (EAFO) is pleased to announce the publication of its 2022 and 2023 Consumer Monitor survey datasets on Zenodo. These datasets provide detailed, country-specific insights into consumer attitudes and behaviors toward alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) in Europe.

What’s Included?

  • 2022 Dataset:The 2022 survey covers 10 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Slovenia, Spain, and the Netherlands. The data is organized into HTML files for each country and an aggregated file for all 10 countries.
  • 2023 Dataset:The 2023 Consumer Monitor covers 12 European countries, building on the 2022 format, further exploring the trends and shifts in consumer attitudes toward AFVs.

Important Notes

  • The published datasets are unweighted raw data, whereas reports previously released by the European Commission used weighted datasets. This may result in discrepancies between the published datasets and the official reports.
  • Reports based on the surveys have been released individually for each country, offering further analysis of consumer trends and insights.

Why It Matters

The availability of these datasets underscores EAFO’s commitment to transparency and data-driven decision-making. Researchers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders can now access and analyze the data to better understand consumer behavior and support the transition to alternative fuel vehicles across Europe.
