BEVs: 132,166 registrations (34.9% market share, up from 30.7% in 2023). 2025 faces additional challenges with the phased reduction of BEV road tax exemptions.

The pace of growth in BEV registrations slightly declined in 2024, with 44,622 new BEVs registered, compared to 47,621 in 2023.

New BEVs: 17,459 (14.4% market share, down from 27.2% in 2023). New PHEVs: 12,538 (10.3% market share, up 20.8% YoY).

In 2024, Bulgaria experienced a 20.5% decline in new electric vehicle (EV) registrations, with a total of 2,451 new EVs sold, down from 3,085 in 2023.

The total number of registered BEVs in Poland for 2024 was 16,563 units, representing a 3% decrease compared to 2023.

100% Electric Vehicles (BEVs): 41,741 units (+14.7% YoY). Plug-in Hybrids (PHEVs): 28,346 units (+4.5% YoY).

21,868 BEVs were registered, making up 29.5% of total new registrations, while 14,863 units of PHEVs, making up 20,1%, 0% of H2 cars.

Nearly 22,000 BEVs were registered in Hungary in 2024, setting a new record. Of these, over 20,000 were passenger cars, representing a significant leap from 2023.

Key Highlights for 2024: New BEV Registrations: 127,750 (+37%). For the first time, electric and hybrid vehicles accounted for 52.3% of all new car registrations.

Overall, Denmark saw 173,047 new passenger cars sold in 2024, a slight 0.2% increase from 2023. Electric cars accounted for 51.5% of total sales, a significant leap forward for green mobility in Denmark.

BEVs accounted for 94,332 units (-15.9%), representing 35% of total registrations. PHEVs showed resilience, growing by 3.3% YoY to 63,087 units, with a market share of 23.4%.
